MARC BROAD
VP DIGITAL

It’s not hyperbole to say that Marc’s career in web development has been a journey. It’s taken him across continents — from his native New Zealand to Paris to New Haven — across frameworks, and across agencies. In those two decades, one constant has been Marc’s willingness to challenge himself to adapt and code better solutions.

As our VP of Digital, it’s Marc’s job to lead our technology team. He ensures that we develop digital experiences and applications that meet the needs of our clients and their consumers.

Before coming to Response, Marc worked for BBDO and Young & Rubicam, winning over 13 international awards, including a D&AD and two Webbys.

CHRIS ROLLINS
DIGITAL MEDIA DESIGNER

Chris is an artist and entrepreneur. At 18, he co-founded an entertainment company that hosted live events with radio stations and record companies, including Interscope and Def Jam records. He also has impeccable style and is currently launching a line of bow ties.

Chris brings the same self-driven passion to his role at Response as a digital media designer. Specializing in motion graphics, he has a keen eye, and ear, for how animations and audio can work together to take creative to the next level.

Chris is a graduate of the University of New Haven, where he majored in music and sound recording.

EDDIE MENSAH DESIGNER

Born and raised in New York, Eddie’s an aficionado of high fashion, street art, and sunset strolls on the beach. You might say he’s cut from a different cloth. But we mean that literally, he cuts and sews his own clothes. Ever since he first put pen to paper illustrating anime, Eddie’s been a passionate creative that finds inspiration everywhere.

As a Designer, Eddie uses his artistic eye and production skills to communicate ideas, inform customers, and solve problems. Whether he’s working on a website, social post, or campaign concept, Eddie ensures that every pixel is on brand and on point.

Eddie graduated from the University of Bridgeport’s Shintaro Akatsu School of Design. There, he designed collateral, managed social media, and maintained the website of the Fernando Luis Alvarez Gallery.

It all starts with
the right crew.

We believe that when you bring together people with unique backgrounds who are strategic, empathetic, passionate, open-minded, and naturally curious, great things can come from that magical combination.

CATHERINE EAGER
SENIOR DESIGNER

Straight outta Prague, Catherine — you can call her Cat — has been abroad for the last four years. Back stateside, and with her lifelong dream of living in Europe realized, Cat has settled down (for now) with her adorable pup Willow. When she’s not perfecting pixels, you can find Cat hiking or hunting for fresh powder on her snowboard.

As a Senior Designer, Cat produces media solutions for our client’s marketing challenges. A maker, creator, thinker, and doer, she’s equally adept at illustrating logos and arranging type as she is at taking photos and editing videos.

Before joining Response, Cat worked with a fast-growing PR company on their in-house creative team, as a Design Group Lead at a career networking platform, and as the Lead Visual Designer for an e-learning platform.

TANYA KANNER HEAD OF DIGITAL DESIGN & UX

Tanya’s heart beats for exploration. Places, people, ideas, experiences, her endless curiosity leads her to explore as much outside herself as she possibly can. This wanderlust has taken her to many corners of the world—from the Israeli desert to the Norwegian Fjords—some of which she’s been lucky enough to call home for a while.

Heading up our Digital Design & UX practice at Response, Tanya draws inspiration from her adventures to diversify her creative thinking. She brings a unique perspective to creative challenges with innate empathy and a passion for human-centered design and storytelling.

Tanya started her own business right out of school and spent a decade helping small and large companies craft strong visual identities and grow their brand presence. She later went on to join in-house teams in the Fintech, Edtech, and fitness industries to amplify their creative practice. Outside of agency life, she’s a newbie van-lifer, dog lover, bookworm, amateur knitter, and has not-so-slowly been going gray since her early 20s.

She believes deeply in getting good $&*! done, celebrating everyone’s success, and respecting the journey it takes to get us from one point to another in our lives.

STEVE BADOWSKI
VP / CREATIVE

An avid hiker, skier, and explorer, Steve is an outdoorsman with a sense of adventure. From powdery Vermont slopes to a month alone on the 200-mile John Muir trail, Steve seeks thrills that let him come back to our four walls refreshed.

As VP of Creative, Steve chisels away at the big problems our clients present until only compelling, strategic solutions remain. His philosophy is to keep it simple: if you approach any problem with the right people, preparation, and an open mind — great ideas will blossom.

Before Response, Steve spent almost a decade with Carrot Creative. As Chief Creative Officer, he helped the agency grow from a small Hamden, CT startup into a Brooklyn juggernaut that was acquired by Vice Media.

We believe that great work, speed and value are not mutually exclusive. Where others see constraints, we see opportunity. Sure, we’ve got specific processes and tools we use, but our approach is never cookie-cutter.

Some challenges call for a different approach, to shake things up and look at things from a different perspective and ask “What if…?”

ROSS MORRISON COPYWRITER

If Ross isn’t writing, he’s reading. And if he’s not reading, he’s trying (often in vain) to train his two young, spirited cats, Little Vivienne Westwood and Diane Von FURstenberg. If he has any more spare time, he spends it throwing BBQs, camping (he’s in it for the gadgets), and writing and performing all manner of comedy.

As Head Copywriter at Response, Ross takes complex concepts and simplifies them so that they’re palatable to any audience. From naming, to taglines, to video scripts, to concepting full-scale ad campaigns, he does it all with a certain panache that makes readers think and smile.

Previous to Response, Ross led and wrote for large-scale campaigns for a good percentage of the Fortune 500 at agencies such as R/GA, HUGE Inc., and Vaynermedia. He’s led or concepted three projects that have won Canne Lion awards (so far).
